  • Big Hill Haven: Works to end family violence through supporting and empowering families.
  • Bike Cochrane: Bike Cochrane’s mission is to serve Cochrane by promoting and advocating Cycling in our community for all ages.
  • Bow Valley Rugby Club (All Programs): Bow Valley Rugby Club is a community-focused, non-profit club offering rugby programs for all ages and skill levels, emphasizing fun, inclusivity, and personal development.
  • Boys and Girls Club (BGG) of Cochrane & Area: To provide safe, supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.
  • The Clothesline (a second-hand clothing store run by the Cochrane Activettes) provides affordable clothing options to Cochrane’s residents, especially for those in challenging circumstances. Funds generated by The Clothesline support good causes in our community. The Clothesline is located at #3 122 4th Ave in Cochrane.
  • Cochrane Activettes: a pillar of hope and support in the Cochrane community. Chartered in May 1978, we are a not-for-profit society driven by a simple yet powerful mission: to extend a helping hand to those in need.
  • Cochrane and Area Health Foundation: Cochrane and Area Health Foundation (CAHF) is a not-for-profit charitable foundation created to improve the quality, provision, and access to healthcare for the people of Cochrane and the surrounding area.
  • Cochrane & Area Events Society: is a volunteer-driven group dedicated to improving quality of life and building community spirit. Our Vision is to enhance community spirit by delivering the best parties in town!
  • Cochrane and Area Hospice Society: The society’s mission is to ensure the availability of exemplary palliative, end-of-life, and bereavement care options in the community of Cochrane and the surrounding area.
  • Cochrane and Area Humane Society: provides food, shelter, medical care, and the opportunity to adopt unwanted, surrendered, lost and unclaimed animals while promoting responsible pet ownership through its educational programs, rural spay/neuter programs, and public fundraising events.
  • Cochrane District Agriculture Society -CDAS: The mission of the Cochrane and District Agricultural Society (CDAS) is to bring rural and urban members of the community together. They aim to provide first-class facilities and programs that reflect the regional heritage, bridging town and country for a strong community.

  • Cochrane Environmental Action Committee: is committed to making Cochrane and the area more environmentally aware and active.

  • Cochrane Food Bank -Feeding Cochrane: to operate and maintain a food bank to provide food to needy people in the Cochrane area.

  • Cochrane Foundation: We are a public foundation created by and for the people of Cochrane. We have a deep knowledge of local needs and opportunities. We act as champions for issues that matter and direct grants to everything from shelter, education, and care for those in need to the arts, environment, and recreation.

  • Cochrane Historical & Archival Preservation Society (CHAPS): To identify, preserve, protect, and educate the public about historically significant properties and buildings in Cochrane, Alberta.

  • Cochrane Home Treasures: is a non-profit organization that operates a thrift store. Store profits fund many worthy causes and initiatives in Cochrane and the surrounding area.

  • Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee: We support the settlement of newcomers to Cochrane and the celebration of heritage for all Albertans, newly arrived or settled here for generations.

  • Cochrane Integrated Arts Society: Our mission is to speak with a united voice that advocates arts with all stakeholders to enhance arts and culture in Cochrane.

  • Cochrane Kiwanis Club: Empowers communities by making lasting differences in the lives of children in Cochrane.

  • Cochrane Legion Branch 15: Our Legion Branch 15 works hard to support our veterans and grow our community. We host various weekly events, sports, and specialty theme nights for the community.

  • Cochrane Victim Services: The Cochrane and Area Victim Services Unit (VSU) is a not-for-profit organization that provides crisis response, support, and referral services to people who have experienced crime, tragedy, and trauma.

  • Cochrane Wolves Football Club: Step into the vibrant world of Cochrane Wolves FC, where soccer isn’t just a sport; it’s a passionate way of life.

  • Cultivate Cochrane Society: is a non-profit society that empowers people to grow their own food through demonstration and education.

  • Frank Wills Memorial Society: The Society is a charitable organization that oversees the operation of the Frank Wills Memorial Hall. The Society’s mission is to offer rental space to other charities, non profits and youth organizations, including the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides at minimal or no cost. The charity receives no government or town funding and all
    operations are funded through its private rentals to the public. The rates have not changed in over 20 years,
    making sure that the venue is affordable for everyone in Cochrane and the surrounding Community.

  • Friends of the Cochrane Library Society: Friends volunteer their time to support the library’s programming and special events. They also help raise funds through book sales, the proceeds of which allow the library to purchase much-needed resources.

  • Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation: An organization managing Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, focusing on environmental conservation, outdoor education, and community events.

  • Helping Hands Society of Cochrane & Area: aims to build a resilient community through social equity and volunteer empowerment, ensuring no community member falls through the cracks. It offers several volunteer-driven programs.

  • Rotary Club of Cochrane: is dedicated to making a positive impact through service projects that better our community and world while fostering a spirit of fellowship among our members.   • Rocky Mountain Rotary: A volunteer organization of young professionals in Cochrane, Alberta, organizing dynamic, community-connecting and community-building events.

  • Robinson Outreach at RiverCross Ranch (RORR): We strive to relieve the conditions associated with youth-at-risk and seniors in need by providing Equine-Assisted Learning and related activities.

  • Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery: A local cooperative art gallery that could collaborate on events, fundraisers, or awareness campaigns.
